Best Second Language to Learn? Employment! Fashion?
Filed Under Learn Italian Naturally | 8 Comments
Hello everyone,
I live in Canada and I currently work for a high-end global fashion brand (store level) and my goal is to go corporate (head office) in it’s European office (it has an office in the UK and in America).
It’s an extremely ambitious and growing brand, but here is my problem.
I have always wanted to learn french (I do have a head start with it as I had to learn french all the way up to high school) but I think it’s more about my romantic visions to be immersed in the french language.
At the store level, the clientelle is Chinese (mandarin speaking), and associates who can speak this language will reap more rewards financially, naturally.
Now seeing that I want to re-locate back to Europe, I also notice that Germany is a very strong economy and the demand for the german language is increasing.
But then I also know that Italian is an ideal language to learn in Fashion (though this is not an Italian brand).
However, I also realize that Spanish the most spoken language in the world.
So, my question is, in this dilemma, thinking about making more money now, verses moving up in the company, which language should I focus on learning? I think it’s way to ambitious to try to learn Mandarin though I really want to. But I’m up against my passionate to become bilingual in french but I’m not sure if it’s particularly uselful for me at the moment.
I can’t just know english… it’s just not realistic anymore!
I should also mention the other clientelle also speaks Arabic. So the immediate benefits say Arabic and Chinese, but I have no background with these languages!

Okay, I’m half Filipino, and half German/Italian, so my complexion is a light olive. I don’t usually wear any kind of foundation or anything because my skin tone is pretty even on my face and I don’t have acne. The thing is my cheeks are very naturally high in color and can get really pink. Sometimes it’s to the point it looks like I brushed a ton of blush on my cheeks.
I’m pretty much a complete novice when it comes to makeup, I didn’t even really learn how to do eye makeup until college. Is there any way I could either cover it up or draw attention away from my cheeks?

LEARN ITALIAN – BAD WORDS pt.1
Filed Under Learn Italian Naturally | 24 Comments
“Le Parolacce” little vocabulary to swear and fuck off the italians. what you don’t find in the books and the teachers don’t tell you! of course there are many others, I put here the most common. I also put the accents on the vocals to show to correct pronunciation, but the words are written without them. THE MUSIC HAS NO RELATIONS WITH THE TEXT! I CHOSE IT ONLY BECAUSE IT’S A PRETTY CUTE THEME OF THE EDITING PROGRAM I USED TO MAKE THIS VIDEO! ALL RIGHT NOW?

OK… So… In order to get my hair like this….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTmxs16mBVo
Or something sort of similar to this…. Someone told me I need to layer my hair.
This is what my hair looks like normally…. Keep in mind… The pictures are not really profession and I’m not ‘good looking’. But, focus on the hair… =P
http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t208/Bocaj880/test/?action=view¤t=19261_1104001259080_1798222830_2007.jpg
My hair is naturally curly… Being the Italian that I am… (I wish I was Asian… They are so much cooler… D= )
Anyways… They is what it looks like when I straightened my hair.
http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t208/Bocaj880/test/?action=view¤t=untitled.jpg
Anyways… I want to know what layering your hair is, first off…
Second… If I can pull it off with my hair being naturally curly… Or if it will just look really uneven…
And lastly… Of course… Comparing the pictures to the video… My hair needs to grow quiet a bit until I can fully do that sort style… But… Will it work? With my hair straightened…. It would seem to work… But I’m here to learn… Thanks.
Oh… And one last thing… Can you see if you can find any pictures of before and after of layered hair so I can get an idea of what it really means?
Thanks sooooo much!!!
Nancy
