If your primary language is english, then french is the way to go. Italian has very different pronunciations from english.

its hard to learn the french accent!!!
For me is not only easier but its also more useful if youre familiar with spanish then the roots of the bridge is very easy to cross into italian likewise once you can learn spanish then the roots of words.

im i french and its easier cause french and americans use to be together and stuff
so theres more french speaking people then italian

i’ve learnt both as a young student and i find Italian easier to pick up and perhaps easier to pronounce
For school so it would prob be easier me.
